Born in Birmingham, England, Sacha Patel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, came to the U.S. when she was eight years old and grew up in Waco, Texas. Nursing became her calling at an early age. When only four years old, Patel wore a nurse’s outfit to visit her sister in the hospital after surgery. Nursing, with its profound ability to restore health and well-being, has always resonated deeply with Patel.
At WK Center for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Patel treats patients from birth to young adults. Her approach involves delving into the intricacies of each child's condition, tirelessly exploring treatment options to alleviate symptoms and bring relief. For Patel, uncovering solutions not only instills hope but also provides solace to both the children and their parents. Embracing a care philosophy centered on education, Patel empowers families by imparting essential health knowledge, fostering lasting well-being and peace.
Having embarked on her nursing journey in 2010 as a licensed vocational nurse, Patel achieved significant milestones, culminating in her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing in 2020. Subsequently, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University in 2023, solidifying her expertise as a certified family nurse practitioner recognized by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Married to a supportive and caring partner, Patel is a devoted mother to two wonderful boys. Beyond her professional commitments, she finds joy in creative pursuits, travel, and cherished moments with her family and friends.
