Jennifer H. Tupper, NP

Working with medically complex children is a calling for Jennifer Tupper, RN. Her nursing experience includes work in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and home health for children with gastrointestinal (GI) issues.

Tupper earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing. A certified pediatric nurse practitioner (Pediatric Nursing Certification Board), Tupper treats young patients through age 21 who have medical issues occurring in the GI tract. Abdominal pain signals issues in the GI tract, from a child’s throat to their stomach to their many digestive organs. Inspired to serve local families with similar experiences as her own family, Tupper recognizes the importance of helping patients, families and caregivers feel heard.

Away from the clinic, Tupper enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, and daughters. A child with special needs motivates Tupper and her husband to visit hospitals and medically fragile children's homes each year at Christmas dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Claus so the children can take photos with Santa. Tupper also loves to crochet, travel and watch her family race at the dirt track.
